Dr Ehsan Khansalar

About

Ehsan has worked full-time at Kingston Business School since 2012 as a Senior Lecturer in Accounting, Finance and Informatics.

He completed his PhD at the University of Sussex. He was previously a lecturer in accounting and finance at Aberystwyth University and a tutor at the University of Sussex. He has twice awarded visiting scholarships by the University of Sydney. Ehsan also worked at the London School of Economics (LSE) as a visiting lecturer at their summer school. Ehsan was nominated as the most engaging lecturer at Kingston Universityin 2021 and received an Academic Impact Award for the best feedback received in 2022. Ehsan's industry experience includes roles at Graham Capital (Hedge Fund) as a financial consultant and an accounting officer at Azad University in Oxford.

He serves on the editorial boards of two journals, the International Journal of Economics and Finance & International Journal of Business and Management. His research interests span all aspects of Accounting and Finance, but focus particularly on earnings management, Articulation of financial statements, Prediction of future Cash Flow/Earnings and Reliability and relevance of Accruals.
