Research

Much of my research is informed by Marxism. Topics have included: contemporary anarchism; a critique of Ernesto Laclau; the theories of 'new materialists' such as Bruno Latour; the work of the American philosopher Michael Sandel; a comparison of rival approaches to understanding neoliberalism; and decolonising political theory. You can find me on Google Scholar here: https://scholar.google.com/citations?hl=en&user=osQGm5gAAAAJ.

I am currently working on three projects in particular: a project on decolonising Politics and Economics curricula; an article on socialism, Chantal Mouffe, and Thomas Piketty; and a paper on realism and materialism as methodologies in political theory.

I am a member of Kingston's Political Economy Research Group and on the Editorial Advisory Board of the journal Global Discourse.
